🥳 WITB’s 2023 Resolutions

At our January 2023 Meet Up, we asked attendees to let us know what their 2023 tech-related resolutions (or better yet… “in-tech-tentions”) are for the year ahead. Here’s what they said!

Nirmeet

I want to transition to a software engineering job, and start interviewing and applying for the jobs that align better with my goals. I’ve been delaying it for some time now, so it’s time to get to it!

Kathita

My tech-related resolution for 2023 is to learn Python for data visualisation and just for fun.

Becca

As a non-techy working in tech, I’m planning to get a better grip on AI solutions out there for writing and content creation… including Chat GPT!

Jenny

I’m interested in learning a new language so in 2023 I plan to learn Python by watching some online videos.

Mia

In 2023 I intend to continue working on my website. I need to pay more attention to it so I’m committing to 3-4 sessions per week to do so!

Anna

This year I’m aiming to upskill in terms of the software I use (especially After Effects for motion graphics) by following online tutorials and solving problems as they turn up during the design process.

Joanna

I want to move into a technical security role in the future so this year I plan to get my Security+ and (ISC)2 CC qualifications.
