December 2023: End of Year Social

Come and celebrate the end of 2023 with us as we look ahead to 2024! Cookie decorating, music, a quiz, board games, a Christmas jumper competition and great conversation - there will be something for everyone!

September 2023: Intro to Tech Careers

Join us as we learn about some of the careers of our fellow Women In Tech.

We'll be exploring some of the different roles within tech, what a typical day looks like, what our members think is the best part, how they found their way into tech, and more!

August 2023: Networking Event

Come and join us for after work networking with other women in tech!

We'll have time to chat with each other, do some fun activities and learn a little more about other women in tech in the area.

July 2023: Exploring Smart Solutions for People with Disabilities

Gavin Neate, founder of Neatebox and the WelcoMe app. will come and talk to us about accessibility in tech, and his revolutionary solution to ensure companies can deliver their best customer service to disabled people.

June 2023: Climbing Social

Fancy swinging across the ceiling like Spiderman, or slowly tip-toeing your way across a wall on holds the size of a 50p? Whether you've never thought about climbing before, or you're a bouldering devotee, come along with us for a fun weekend social at the climbing gym!

Eradicating the digital divide

We spoke to Qasim Majid about his work with WOWdot, an organisation aiming to provide 1000 families in the Birmingham areas with devices and a years free internet connection.

In this special event for International Women’s Day  our members again took to the stage to present, this time about the women who had inspired them.

It was great to hear about so many incredible women!

Our first Lightning Talks event focused on the projects that inspire us the most. Our members had a chance to give short talks about their own projects - it was great to learn more about some of our members and what they are passionate about!
